Quick Tip: Open application always in new window

On Xing.com somebody asked, how to setup a Notes client application, thus it is opened in a new windows - like the help databases do.

There is a little trick: You only have to set NotesHelp as the category in Database properties - Design - List in Database Catalog - Categories.

This way, the application is opened in a special window.

Careful!

I tried this and it worked. However, I cannot reverse the process, either by clearing the field or assigning a new category.

Any ideas?

If you wish to disable this window setting, you must first remove the NotesHelp category and deselect the option for List in Database Catalog. Then, you must remove and then re-add the database icon on the workspace. If you only disable the options in the Database Properties, the changes do not take effect.
