Lotusphere 2008 - We'll be there II (Update)

by Thomas,
assono GmbH, Standort Kiel,

In the meantime the timetable for the sessions has been published:

Object Oriented Programming with Lotusscript ? Take It To the Next Level
Session abstract Object-oriented programming (OOP) in LotusScript is a powerful, yet underestimated tool. Starting where ordinary introductions end, this session will guide you into the depth of OOP in IBM Lotus Notes and OO design prinicples in general. We'll show you how to build a flexible framework for OO development in LotusScript, which implements the Model-View-Controller (MVC) paradigm. Using it, you can accelerate your development process and produce highly maintainable code really fast. We'll illustrate the architecture of the framework, its classes and some implementation details.
Session date 2008-01-24
Session time 08:30am - 9:30am
Session location SW 5-6
Speakers Thomas Bahn, Bernd Hort

Update:

In the meantime the conference web site
has gone public: http://www.ls08.net/ . Attendees should have gotten user
name and password via email.

There you can download the presentation
for our session in advance.

And the day before yesterday I found
a really nice surprise in my inbox:

Re: Object-Orientated Programming (OOP)
and Frameworks in LotusScript

Dear Thomas Bahn:

Once again, this year we asked all registered
attendees to pay special attention to the Session Preferences voting application
- the BoF submissions with the most votes would be the ones included in
this year's agenda. There was tremendous interest and excitement in our
new approach, and a huge turnout of voters as well.

We are pleased to inform you that your
BoF session listed above has been chosen
as one of the Bofs attendees
would most like to see included on this year's agenda.

We don't know any other details yet,
but obviously, there must be some interest in OOP in LotusScript. biggrin.gif
